Accounts Payable Specialist (12 mth FTC)

Veritas Search Ltd are working with a prestigious law firm in the centre of Dublin on their recruitment of an Accounts Payable Specialist, for an initial 12 mth FTC with likelihood of extension.

This is a busy role in the heart of the finance function in the business and will be a very varied and interesting experience for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process expense claims and ensure repayments are made accurately
• Submission of relevant tax and VAT documentation
• Full lifecycle of AP – assign approvers, manage payment runs, bank transfers, invoicing etc.
• Bank reconciliations
• Client and Vendor liaison – manage queries, resolve issues and ensure accuracy at all time
• System integrity – making sure coding is accurate, details are up to date and all information recorded is correct

The Person:

• Accounting Technician or PQ with 2+ years experience
• Good knowledge of month end procedures and good systems experience
• Background in working in a high volume environment
• Comfortable working to deadlines and multi-tasking
